Welcome to the Autorply API documentation. These APIs allow you to integrate Autorply with your own systems and automate common operations such as managing contacts, conversations, messages, inboxes, teams, and webhooks.

Authentication

Most Application API requests require an access_token. You can generate your access token from your Autorply account settings. Send the token with your API requests using the authentication method shown in each endpoint.

Application APIs

Application APIs are used to interact with your Autorply account. You can use them to:
  • Manage contacts
  • Read and manage conversations
  • Send and retrieve messages
  • Work with inboxes
  • Assign conversations to agents or teams
  • Manage labels and custom attributes
  • Receive events through webhooks

Client APIs

Client APIs are intended for custom messaging experiences, such as building your own chat interface or integrating messaging into another application. Authentication for Client APIs uses the identifiers associated with your API inbox and contact.
